Which Haus? Haus Witch! @Hauswitch / Salem MA
In winter of 2020 I was invited by my friends at Hauswitch in Salem, MA to create a rich, conceptual window installation for their store. The HausWitch window piece sprung from a sister installation called Bough House/ Bauhaus at the Fitchburg Art Museum in an exhibition called “After Spiritualism” in which the wallpaper reflected weaving patterns by Molteni’s favorite Bauhaus women artists. In the true spirit of Haus love and shelter-in-place measures, I rearranged the Bough/Bau posters to depict a cozy community of houses in Salem.
